Kate Solisti, internationally known speaker, author, and educator, has been a professional animal communicator, communicating telepathically with animals since 1992. She works with individual animal guardians, trainers, and holistic veterinarians, assisting in solving behavioral problems, understanding health problems, healing past traumas, and facilitating understanding between humans and non-humans.

 

Kate is a recognized authority and sought-after speaker on dog and cat nutrition and diet planning. Since 1997, she has taught people how to make healthy, balanced meals for their companions. Kate has also provided support for supplement development and frozen raw-food recipes for cats and dogs for a variety of companies.

 

She continues to research and stay current on breakthroughs in health, supplements, and holistic modalities; information she eagerly passes on through her weekly newsletters, lectures, teleconferences, and one-on-one consultations.

 

She has also participated in projects developing energetic healing modalities for animals. In addition to working daily with companion animals, Kate has worked with wild animals learning about their inter-relationships and their roles in balancing the Earth. She has provided advisory support at Fossil Rim Wildlife Center in Texas.

 

Kate Solisti has been a guest faculty member at the International School for Professional Horsemanship in Merle, Belgium, teaching seminars on the human/horse relationship. She has taught Canine Nutrition and Bach Flower Remedies at the Lang Institute of Canine Massage in Loveland, CO, and lectured on animal communication at the Boulder College of Massage.

 

She was the guest speaker at the British Association of Homeopathic Veterinary Surgeons annual meeting in England and at Rocky Mountain Holistic Veterinary Association meetings in Colorado.

 

Kate has been a presenter at Whole Life Expos throughout the western US. She also presented a workshop at the International Society for the Study of Subtle Energies and Energy Medicine Conference (ISSEEM). Kate has taught interspecies/ animal communication workshops and dog and cat nutrition classes in Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Washington, New York, New Jersey, France, England, and Belgium.

 

Kate Solisti was a presenter at the 2023 International Multispecies Methods Research Symposium sponsored by the University of Saskatchewan, School of Environment and Sustainability. The conference brought together for only the second time, First Nations Peoples, Animal/Interspecies Communicators and scientific researchers.

 

She lectured and taught at the National Association of Professional Petsitters (NAPPS) National Conferences in Las Vegas (2011 and 2013), Orlando (2008) and Houston (2007), at Mile Hi Church in Lakewood, CO every year from 2007 - 2014, The Bookworm in Edwards, CO 2009, Whole Foods in Ft. Collins, CO in 2007, The Open Center in NYC in 2005 and at the Whiskers Holistic Pet Conference in NYC in 1998.

Kate has written on interspecies communication and dog and cat nutrition for Animal Wellness Magazine, Tiger Tribe, Wolf Clan, Best Friends, Species Link, and NAPPS (National Association of Professional Petsitter) magazines. She regularly writes and blogs in her weekly newsletter and on this website.

 

In 1997, Ms. Solisti co-edited an anthology, published in German, Ich spurte die Seele der Tiere. It was published in English as Kinship with the Animals in 1998 and again in 2007 with new contributions in an updated edition, Kinship with Animals with a forward by Star Trek's William Shatner, an avid horse enthusiast. Contributors include: Jane Goodall, Marc Bekoff, Michael Fox, Michael Mountain, Ingrid Newkirk, Michael Tobias, Linda Tellington-Jones, and Michael Roads. 

 

In the fall of 2000, Kate published Conversations with Dog, An Uncommon Dogalogue of Canine Wisdom. This is the first book to ask dogs what they think and feel about living with human beings. Conversations with Cat, An Uncommon Catalog of Feline Wisdom, was released in October 2001. The final book in the "conversations" trilogy, Conversations with Horse, An Uncommon Dialog of Equine Wisdom was published in June 2003. They have been translated into Korean, German, Italian, Russian, Portuguese, French, and Czech. All three Conversations books were re-released in new editions by Council Oak Books in 2004.

in 2016, Kate's newest books, Love Letters from Dogs and Love Letters from Cats were published in Japanese.

 

Kate Solisti's book, The Holistic Animal Handbook, a Guide to Nutrition, Health and Communication, was published in May of 2000. It was simultaneously published in German as SpirituellePartnerschaft mit Haustieren. The Holistic Animal Handbook was revised, updated and re-released in a new edition by Council Oak Books in 2004. She also produced two videos on dog and cat nutrition and preparing balanced homemade diets (out of print).

 

She was featured in Animals, Our Return to Wholeness, by Penelope Smith; in Communicating with Animals, The Spiritual Connection Between People and Animals, by Arthur Myers; and in Women of Grace, Women Healers & Healing Practitioners, by Carol Kronwitter.

 

Kate was also featured in Boulder Magazine (2012), The Daily Camera, Boulder, CO (June 2008), 5280 magazine (2007), Alternative Health magazine, (2006),  Pets: Part of the Family magazine (Jul/Aug 1999), the Rocky Mountain News (May 1997 and Sept. 1998), on K105 Radio in Denver, ABC News in Denver and KKTV, Colorado Springs as well as many other radio and television shows around the US.
